Veolia Nuclear Solutions (VNS) is delighted to participate as an exhibitor and presenter at the World Nuclear Exhibition 2025, taking place from 4–6 November in Paris, France.
With over 23,000 attendees from 88 countries, the WNE is the world’s premier civil nuclear gathering. This year’s programme will explore two key themes shaping the industry:
Nuclear Today and Tomorrow – covering project deliverability, Artificial Intelligence, and new financing strategies.
Beyond Electricity – highlighting nuclear applications in medicine, agriculture, space, hydrogen, heat, desalination, and propulsion.
At this year’s event, Veolia Nuclear Solutions will showcase practical, implementable and permanent solutions for the nuclear industry. From decontamination and decommissioning to bespoke machinery, effluent treatment, solid waste management, measurement and characterisation, on-site services, and laboratory innovations, VNS continues to pioneer safer, faster and better approaches to some of the sector’s toughest challenges.
VNS Workshops at WNE 2025
This year, VNS is hosting two technical workshops:
1. Advancing In-Situ Vitrification for Radioactive Soil Remediation: Insights from the SOLVERIS Project
The SOLVERIS project is developing an industrial-scale remediation system using GeoMelt In-Situ Vitrification (ISV), which immobilises contaminants within a stable underground glass matrix. Supported by the French Government and ANDRA through the France 2030 initiative, this collaboration brings together CEA, BRGM, Assystem, ECI MECA, and VNS.
The workshop will share progress in adapting ISV for varied site and regulatory conditions and discuss qualification programmes and safety case development. It will feature insights from a panel of experts, including Cyrille Veronneau (VNS), Dominique Nozais (ECI MECA), Stéphane Belbèze (BRGM), Mihaela Racape (Assystem) and Magali Saluden (CEA).
2. Boosting Operational Performance on a Nuclear Site: A Veolia Nuclear Solutions & Siteflow Case Study
In highly regulated nuclear environments, traditional workflows are often fragmented and paper-based. This workshop demonstrates how VNS, in partnership with Siteflow, has transformed on-site operations through digital workflows and mobile applications.
Attendees will learn how real-time access to procedures and mobile data collection improves compliance, traceability and reporting. The session will feature case study insights from Emilien Morel, Site Director (VNS France) and Simon Riou, Shift Manager (VNS France), who have led the deployment on a complex nuclear site.
