**Veolia Nuclear Solutions France designed, manufactured, installed, and commissioned two characterisation chains for radioactive waste packages.**

These chains employ gamma spectrometry to achieve automatic identification, quantification, and isotope measurements of nuclear material in waste packages.

The systems include a rotating platform for package handling and a detector-carrying cart. Veolia’s software suite ensures proper functioning checks and streamlined measurement reports.
